- Check all faucets for leaks
- Check all exposed hot and cold water supply lines

- Tag all emergency shut offs
- Check gas water heater: burner, flue pipe, vent draft, water leaks, emergency cutoff, check electric water heater: thermostat, wiring condition, emergency cutoff, temperature, and pressure safety relief valve, drain valve
